DRUG Crimes
Drug Crimes are related to the possession with intent to use or possession to sell. The manufacture of drugs, solicitation to purchase drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia are also components of drug crimes. The charges can range from misdemeanor possession to felony possession, intent to sell, having drugs within a school drug free zone, etc. Penalties can range anywhere from a minor fine to years in a federal penitentiary. Even if you are a youthful offender, the charges are serious. They can effect the rest of your life. Anyone arrested for this or any other crime should remember to exercise their Miranda rights and not speak until they have acquired the services of a private attorney.

They allow the police to impound everything you own if the possessions were gained from illegal means such as the sale of drugs. According to reports from DEA, drug arrests have gone up to over 30 thousand a year, an increase of approximately 20% over last year, but down over 25% in the last decade. Drug use in teens has decreased by over 50% last few years as well. Encouraging statistically, it still does not negate your need to provide yourself with an attorney as fast as possible upon arrest.
